Every field can have a value per locale. You define a default locale (say, en-AU), then add locales with explicit fallback rules. Translation can be manual in the UI, or wired to Smartling, Lokalise, or Phrase via Contentful translation extensions.

Mapped 1:1. Meta titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, Open Graph, structured data, hreflang, and redirect rules all transfer into Contentful fields and ship in the Next.js head — per locale.
